Misterious PIYA's exclusion

1. Up to this very moment, i still dont understand why on earth Malaysia Boss Datuk K Rajagobal refused to name Badri Radzi in his squad for upcoming series of friendlies and his ultimate plan for this years AFF cup.

2. The Kelantan midfield maverick is well known for his inventive attacking play, always positioned himself at the right place, linked up well with his target man, and ability to score goals as well.

3. With only Safiq Rahim as the most recognised attacking midfielder in the squad, i cant see any suitable replacement should Safiq got himself injured or suspended. Where is the plan B?

4. I hope Datuk Raja could consider Badri Radzi for any future call ups for the sake of Harimau Malaya. For me, Piya has everything it takes to play at international level

We are the victims of bad gambling habits

1. I dont have to be a private investigator and come out with facts, to tell the entire world that how bad is our football ruined by a group of greedy gamblers, operating across borders and managing funds worth billions!

2. FIFA identified Singapore and Malaysia as the centre of match fixing activities, and i am not happy with that declaration. Based on my observation and some reading, these bookies are well funded, well conected and looked untouchable. Why is it so difficult for the authorities to identify who is behind that billions? We should stop the funder, whoever he is from continue funding the bribery activities.

3. So often we heard the arrest of several players, coaches and officers, but how about the parties who offer the money? Why dont we catch them too? Not just the offeror, but authorities must chase the trail up to the original funder, or the original funds pool. I believe if we can stop the 'big shark', then at least half of the problem can be resolved.

4. These gambling, betting, bribery and match fixing are very sinful and and very big criminal offences. They are cheating thousands of football fans. and thats why in islam, gambling is strongly prohibited. However, due to some peoples selfishly greedy attitude, they are willing to invest in the betting and gambling funds, and these funds to be used for bribe the targeted people.

5. Those who are involved with the abovementioned criminal chain, can be considered as day light mafia, stealing peoples money and corrupted the whole football industry. I personally felt that because of this nasty gambling habit, i was cheated with an already fixed football match. Football fans are the victims of this crime chain..We need to create public awareness of the dark side of gambling and betting. lets save football.

Ismail Faruqi's flair flourish

1. A massive dissapointment for Terengganu especially new coach Peter Butler, as they have shown the exit door by neighbours Kelantan in last night AFC cup last 16 clash.

2. On overall, i saw unfortunate Terengganu for failing to settle early in the game that was delayed about half an hour due to heavy rain. The pitch was not in the best possible condition, both team were forced to play long and high ball in order to avoid stagnant water.

3. But i am definately delighted with the performance of Terengganu's promising star, ISMAIL FARUQI. He was the only one who, in my personal opinion lead Terengganu's resurgence in the second half. His comfortable first touch has helped him in bringing the ball down to the floor with ease. Once the ball at his feet, you can expect something to be happened.

4. From first touch, vision, dribbling, passing, up to shooting (as he demonstrated during first goal), Ismail's game has improved significantly. If he will be given more regular playing time in the first eleven, i believe Ismail could become the next playmaker to push for place in the national team. Not suprise if one day Datuk K Rajagobal to pick him instead of Safiq Rahim! Who knows...

Bojan Hodak for Harimau Malaya?

1. After FA Cup triumph last night, i have to admire the work done by Kelantanese coach, Bojan Hodak. Taking over the job from Peter butler in March, he has put fantastic effort in keeping the team's stability and hungry for more success.

2. Tactically i dont really saw any improvement to the team. Bojan improved the team's finishing touch, helped Lebanon striker Mohamed Ghaddar ended his goal jinx. Norfarhan regain his place and formed great partnership with Indra Putra.

3. Maybe its too early to judge on Bojan's overall coaching ability, but his experience in dealing with Malaysian football, as well as some south east asian league might favour him to be the leading candidate of future Malaysian national team head coach.

4. If Datuk K Rajagobal fail to defend the AFF cup at the end of this year, plus failure to qualify to Asia cup 2015 in Australia, i suggest FAM to start looking for a better successor. This time, please look for a foreign coach, and i strongly recommend Bojan Hodak for the job.

Marcello Lippi signed for a Chinese Super League club

1. Great news for chinese and asian football. A World cup, champions league winner coach is finally signed for Chinese super league champions, Guangzhou Evergrande.

2. "The most important thing is to bring the Italian football concept to China"...declared the charismatic football figure. For me, thats why i am so impressed with this latest development in China super league. We in Malaysia need  massive improvement in term of football technic, intelligency, passion, profesionalisme.

3. It is obvious people in that part of the world is trying something new. They would be trying new way of playing football, adopting to a more tactical game famously invented by the Italians. Should Guangzhou able to play the way lippi wants, i can imagine how compact they would be in terms of team organization on and off the pitch.

4. How about our clubs or state FA's in Malaysian Super League? Can any of our clubs determined enough to have this high ambition of getting world class service from any world class coach?  Please think as far as we can, please change the way we run our clubs or state FAs.

Good luck coach Ismail!

1. Ismail Zakaria will lead his club side KL Sime Darby in the FA cup  final this saturday. This coach was the one who tought me on basic football coaching technic way back somewhere in 2004.

2. I and some other participants were so lucky that coach Ismail conducted 3 days seminar at wisma FAS in Kelana Jaya on that day. I was highly motivated, excited with the prospect of getting involve in coaching in regular basis. I was succesfully completed the seminar, earned the certificate. However, due to some external reasons, i was unable to further my study in football coaching. Untill today, i am still eyeing on that illusive 'C' class lisence.

3. Back to coach Ismail, He is a very experienced coach, involved in all level of football development. Various experience with club sides, youth teams and was Selangor FA Technical Director. Personally, i want him to win this weekend's FA cup final because he was my teacher.

4. I know Kelantan will be the hot favourite, but don't be suprised if Sime Darby could come out with a giant killing performance and give the biggest upset in the FA cup history. Enjoy the game, enjoy the football. And all the best coach!

They should give more support to Nazmi Faiz

1. I am hoping Nazmi will do well in Portugal. Maybe he is small physically, but he is only 17 years old and  i believe he can still grow at least for another inch.

2. I thought for a young boy like Nazmi, he need more than a moral support. He is going to a very good football nation in Portugal. But english is not to be the preffered languange, i assume. For the first few weeks, Nazmi is expected to face communication problem with his team mates as well as his coaches. FAM should sent a good translater to accompany Nazmi's journey to Portugal. A Profesional translater who can be the medium between Nazmi and the people at the football club. A translater who can help Nazmi to understand any instruction to be given by the coach.

3. A young boy like Nazmi could easily feel homesick if things not going well during his attempt to secure a place with the portugese outfit. To make him feel more like at home, i suggest a Malaysian cook to accompany him so that he can still eat the Malaysian meals with pleasure. Food can settle him down faster, and emosionally, will build his feelgood mood.

4. All of these external factors are so important, because we simply want Nazmi to be a successful player who trade his football in Portugal. COME ON NAZMI FAIZ!

Call for MSL ALL STAR VS BPL CLUBS

1. We all know by this point of time several english premier league clubs will be heading to Kuala Lumpur this coming July. And i have say it again, they are coming for commercialization, marketing, merchandising and all sort of profit oriented activities.

2. Because of the commercialization factor, i suggest to Malaysian football authority to respond in a simillar way. We have our own football product to be talked about. Yes, we have MALAYSIAN SUPER LEAGUE as our proud local made brand. And i am suggesti  ng to FAM to promote our product to the visitor.

3. The best way to promote is by fielding a team consisting of all best foreign and local players in the super league. That team could be known as MSL ALL STAR.

4. If it can be materialised, i could imagine the team will be as exciting as the visitor. Here are some of the names i would suggest for MSL ALL STAR: Khairul Fahmi Che Mat (GK), Asrarudin Putra (LB), Daudsu Jamaludin (RB), obinna nwaneri (DC), Ramez Dyoub (DC), Shakir Shaari (CM), Michal Kubala (AM), S kunanlan (WL), S Chanturu (WR), Mohamad Ghaddar (FC), Effa Owana (FC).

5. For an exhibition game against the BPL clubs, FAM should not fielding the senior national team as this is not 'A' class international fixture. I strongly recommend FAM to form the special task team by the name MSL ALL STAR to play against the visiting BPL clubs.

Best Malaysian defensive midfielder..so far

1. I always observed the tactical side of the game, in Malaysian super league of course. For us to sustain and to be succesfull in the long run, we have to keep on producing talents. football is a game of collective effort. To win a game, you can't rely solely on your striker, or your captain. Every team need a balance in their organization on the pitch. Today i would like to highlight the most important part of the team, or the unsung hero. Lets take a look at some of the finest defensive midfielder in the country.

2. Rated at number 6: NAZMI FAIZ MANSUR - The seventeen years old is the country's latest wonderkid. Playing with Harimau Muda in the Singaporean league, many comparing him with midfield legend and maestro, Azizul Abu Hanifa. Fantastic first touch, great composure in midfield, superb close ball control and great vision to unlock opponent's defence are his strength in the game.

3. Ranked at number 5: SHARULNIZAM MUSTAFA - The Perak captain is famously known for his determination, non stop running and occasionaly able to unleash a venomous shot. Very respectable with his leadership qualities, the 31 years old still in national boss's plan, but he knows that he have to compete with so many younger players.

4. Ranked at number 4: AMAR ROHIDAN - He is the favourite son for Datuk K Rajagobal's national team set up. The Kedah midfielder is known for his ability in reading the game and anticipate with great calmness. Very good in using the ball, he also looks comfortable with short and simple passes game plan with his fellow midfielder.

5. At number 3: K GURUSAMY - Earned 2 SEA games gold medal and 1 AFF cup trophy, always been a reliable ball winner, high charged determination is a guarantee every time he is playing. Guru now playing with Malaysian super league giant, Selangor. He is one of the core players under DKRG's plan to retain AFF cup at the end of this year.

6. At number 2: GARY STEVEN ROBBERT - Physically bigger than K Gurusamy but played a simillar role in midfield. Powered by strong determination, Gary's presence guarantee extra protection for the back four. Fearless, he is the one who could spark the battle in the middle of the park with his crunching tackles. When he is not playing, Harimau Muda is looked a bit lighter, less aggressive side.

7. At number 1, at my humble opinion, the best Malaysian defensive midfielder so far: MOHD SHAKIR SHAARI - Elegent, composed, great first touch, superb passing range, magnificent play-making ability, leader in the making. The Kelantan ball distributor is now leading the pack for that anchor role in the Harimau Malaya's squad. It is hard to see he gave the ball away easily as he very good in using the ball intelligently.

This is not Selangor we all used to watch

1. What a dismal performance by the red giants boys yesterday? i thought that their defenders were all over the place and looked disjointed. Terrible defending was the root  caused for all 3 goals conceeded.

2. In midfield, Safiq Rahim and K Gurusamy failed to meet the expectation of their international calibre. They can't simply produce that outstanding performance which saw them bring home 2 SEA games gold medal and 1 AFF cup triumph. What is wrong with this Selangor squad?

3. What i can say with my short observation on Selangor struggle is, they need major rebuilding of their current squad. Irfan Bakti inherited a very lame squad that build the game around aging Amri Yahyah, one of the few survivor of Super league winners with K Devan.

4. A towering and more aggresive centre back is needed. Nasriq Bahrom's performance for the past 2, 3 seasons shows that his talent is not going to grow any further. Razman Roslan is another under par performer in Selangor squad. lacking defensive steel and looked very predictable when going forward.

5. The differences between Selangor and those east coast rivals are on the flanks. Irfan don't have the luxury to pick a different set of wingers. The likes of Amirulhadi Zainal, Solehin and Fitri Shazwan are not good enough to give variety in Selangor attack. Lacking in physical attribute and lack of game intelligence saw them always struggle when having possesion of the ball.

6. Lastly, should Amri Yahyah to stay as captain and first eleven starter? I don't think so. Selangor have to find a better, younger goal creator to feed the technically good finisher in Bosko Balaban. Amri days is over. Irfan have to change the core of the team, starting with the dismisal of veteran Amri Yahyah

Kelantan and Terengganu are all out to reach last 16 of AFC Cup

1. Malaysian football continue its slow progress after winning 2 SEA games and 1 AFF cup, but this time through their club side.

2. Not so many fans realize how important a continental competition as afc cup could contribute to their national team progress internationaly. AFC cup indeed a second tier competition in Asia, just like its european cousin in Europa league. But for a developing football nation like Malaysia, we need as much continental exposure as we can.

3. For tonight clashes involving two Malaysia's promising club side, i hope they can give their 100% commitment to grab the full points. Both team providing more than 10 players to the national set up, it is intesting to see progress they could possibly make, and how far they could go in this competition.

4. Winning mentality is vital in this kind of tough continental challenges. The more they play internationaly, the more complete players they will be. For some reasons, Malaysian clubs refused to play in this competiton for the last 2 seasons. But now, with new generations coming through, states and clubs have change their policy and start looking for fresh challenge abroad.

5. I am standing behind all clubs that representing Malaysia in AFC cup. And tonight, I wish Kelantan and Terengganu can go through the last 16 of the AFC cup.

Kelantan miliki ramuan terbaik untuk kecapi kejuaraan
